Road safety has become an important topic today due to the development and advances in transportation.
The primary mission of CTAF is to promote road safety concepts and initiatives.
Now that FIA has launched the Action for Road Safety initiative in support of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety, it is time for Taiwan to channel more of its energies into this very meaningful movement aimed at educating more people on the importance of road safety.

CTAF has been taking part in FIA meetings since the preparations for its official establishment commenced.
It has also been actively involved in domestic projects targeting road accidents.
As the Honorary President of CTAF, I look forward to seeing the changes that CTAF will bring by helping to align the overall transportation environment, road-user education and next-generation transportation reforms in Taiwan with international standards.

The "Chinese Taipei Automobile Federation" was formed to promote road safety in Taipei.
The primary mission of CTAF is to educate all citizens about road safety. Teaching sound road usage habits in the younger generation, promoting a proper understanding of road safety, providing the latest information on transportation improvements, encouraging public understanding and participation in the automobile/motorcycle industry, as well as other educational and promotional activities related to the automobile/motorcycle industry are part of the CTAF mission.
Since its founding, CTAF has worked actively to reach out and connect with other international automobile organizations.
In the spirit of global vision with Asia as our base, we hope to one day partner with international automobile organizations on sharing each other's experience and boosting the international visibility of Taiwan.
